INGREDIENTS: Lindera root, Ginseng, Licorice, Alpinia fruit, Raspberry, Mantis, Chinese endothelium corneum gigeriae galli, Gingko nuts, Cornus. Urinary incontinence becomes more problematic for women around or after menopause. Primarily, it is due to insufficient kidney Qi. The function of the urinary bladder depends on kidney Qi. When kidney Qi is weak, the sphincter of the urinary bladder is, in turn, weakened, causing sudden increases of abdominal pressure, such as coughing, sneezing and laughing, to trigger the leakage of urine. Sometimes, the bladder is so weak that leakage is spontaneous even without any activity. This formula not only strengthens kidney Qi, but also helps to transform the kidney Qi in order to support the urinary bladder. One report showed that 45 cases out of 57 with urinary incontinence from childbirth or gynecological surgery were cured with the herbs in this formula.
